Cloudberries are found wild growing low to the ground in the arctic tundra and Boreal forest of Canada where Regalis partner with foragers to source the fruit. A bramble in the rose family, cloudberries ripen from red to gold jutting up on single stems, but a plant may not produce fruit each year and it can take up to seven years to bear any fruit at all, so the berries are a rarity. Its flavor is slightly floral, reminiscent of apricot, mango, and passion fruit with a subtle savory finish. Made with wild cloudberries, organic cane sugar, citric acid and pectin, this preserve complements savory dishes just as well as desserts and pastries.
